Carl Anthony is the creator of AutoVision News Radio and host of AutoSens & InCabin Insights. Often shortened to "AV Radio," the small but influential podcast focuses on future vehicle technology, including next-generation ADAS innovations, electrification, and software-defined cars. Meanwhile, the Insights series is a valuable resource for the engineering community underpinning the world-renowned AutoSens and InCabin conferences and exhibitions.

As a respected automotive broadcaster and editor, Carl uses his voice and experience to uplift the industry wherever possible. He is a member of the Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation and a supporter of its mission to empower women in the automotive and mobility sectors. Additionally, he serves on the Advisory Board for Reuters Automotive USA, North America's premier automotive executive summit, where he moderates panels with influential leaders and innovators. He has appeared on popular podcasts and radio shows, including Wrench Nation, Cars Yeah, The Car Doctor, and Digital PR Explained, in addition to serving as a regular contributor on MotorMouth Radio on WHPC 90.3 FM.

Carl is the former managing editor of Automoblog, an automotive publication that helps its readers understand more about cars, driving, and vehicle ownership as a whole. During his decade-plus tenure at Automoblog, he led the transformation of the site from a "car blog on the side" to a full-scale publication renowned for its in-depth vehicle overviews and ownership guides, comprehensive product and service reviews, and undeniable passion for car culture.

Other prior roles include serving as a new vehicle launch and dealer trainer for Ford, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo. He was a trusted product specialist on Chevy's National Truck Team, an experiential marketing program that travels the United States. Carl was later a member of the FCA (now Stellantis) national auto show team, where he served as the resident expert for consumers on the Dodge Charger and Challenger.

Before the automotive industry, Carl was a disc jockey, producer, and programmer at several popular Midwest radio stations, including KIWR, KEZO, KJAN, and KELO-FM. He is a graduate of Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, where he dual-majored in the Electronic Media studies program, earning Associate of Applied Sciences degrees in both radio and television broadcasting.
