With UVEye scans, consumers have more clarity on their vehicle's condition, while service advisors and technicians gain more insight into the repairs needed. And all you do is simply drive through the machine.
UVeye co-founder and CEO Amir Hever joined AV Radio host Carl Anthony from the showroom at LaFontaine Buick GMC Cadillac in Highland, Michigan, where LaFontaine Automotive Group and UVeye announced a strategic partnership. During the event, attendees saw the UVeye system in action as vehicles passed through and could even review the corresponding reports on a large digital display.
The partnership will ultimately see the implementation of UVeye’s technology at more than 40 LaFontaine locations across Michigan, creating the world’s first cross-state network of complimentary drive-through vehicle health scans, open to all residents regardless of where they purchased their vehicle.
Amir discussed why trust and transparency are key pillars of UVeye’s philosophy, recalling an instance when both eroded around his own vehicle when he took it in for service. He also expanded on UVeye’s reputation as the “MRI for Cars,” how OEMs can leverage the technology to provide a new level of customer service, and what the future holds for one of the most promising companies in the automotive industry today.
